(San Juan, Puerto Rico) – Jan. 10, 2023 – Indiana Farm Bureau President Randy Kron today was reelected to the American Farm Bureau Federation board of directors at the 2023 AFBF Convention held in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Kron will continue to represent the Midwest region on the board for the next two years.

“Serving alongside other Farm Bureau presidents on AFBF’s board of directors is a true honor,” said Kron. “As a member of the national board, I will continue to make sure the voices of Hoosier farmers as well as our neighboring farmers across the Midwest are heard.

“AFBF brings together all aspects of agriculture, and I’m so fortunate to be part of unifying the industry.”

Kron has been a member of the AFBF board of directors since 2020 and has served as president of Indiana Farm Bureau since 2016. He also is involved in other agriculture industry groups, including serving as INFB’s representative on the U.S. Grains Council, on the board of directors for the Indiana Grain Indemnity Corporation, and as a member of Rep. Larry Bucshon’s agricultural advisory committee.

Kron and his wife, Joyce, farm with their son, Ben, in Vanderburgh County, where they raise yellow corn, white corn, soybeans and wheat.
