Ag Land Use & Zoning School

Credits: The course has been approved for 3.0 CLE credit hours for attending attorneys. Click here for CLE certification form.

The session is free for Indiana Farm Bureau members and $50 for nonmembers. 

Please register by Tuesday, March 4.

 

Speakers for the event include:

  • Kendell Culp, INFB vice president and state representative (District 16), will provide an update on legislative activity impacting Indiana agricultural land use. (Culp's presentation)
  • Caitlin Smith, INFB associate director of public policy, will highlight INFB land use legislative priorities. (Smith's presentation)
  • Mark Basch, a hydrogeologist with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Water, will speak about DNR water withdrawal authority. (Basch's presentation) 
  • Josh Trenary, Indiana Pork Producers executive director, will speak about local noticing requirements. (Trenary's presentation)
  • Brianna Schroeder, partner at Janzen Schroeder Ag Law, will discuss frequently recurring legal issues that impact agriculture. (Schroeder's presentation)
  • Alan Townsend, partner at Bose McKinney & Evans, will highlight recent land use litigation potentially impacting agriculture. (Townsend's presentation)
