Kennedy Beghtel is Indiana Farm Bureau’s new administrative coordinator for the public policy team. She started April 27.

A 2025 college graduate, Beghtel was a Congressional Field Representative for Congressman Mike Bost (IL-12) and most recently served as an intern in the Indiana State Senate. She also worked at a locally owned butcher shop (Dewig Meats in Haubstadt, Indiana).

“I look forward to supporting the public policy team in advocating for the voice of Hoosier farmers,” she said.

A native of Owensville, Indiana, Beghtel earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Southern Illinois University. She lives in Indianapolis with her cat, Aggie Kahn. In her free time, Beghtel enjoys baking, cooking, traveling and kayaking.
