Micha Burkert, director of government affairs
Micha Burkert is the newest addition to the public policy team, serving as INFB director of government affairs. With a background in public policy, legislative strategy and government relations, Burkert brings a wealth of experience to the role.
She most recently served as director of government relations at Centene Corporation – Managed Health Services, where she led strategic legislative efforts. Prior to that, Burkert held the role of director of legislative affairs at the Indiana Department of Health, where she was instrumental in advancing the agency’s legislative agenda.
Burkert has a bachelor’s degree in law and public policy from Indiana University in Bloomington and a law degree from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. She is a recent graduate of the 2025 Indiana Leadership Forum. She lives in Noblesville with her husband, Marco, and son, Oliver.

Hallie Helderman is joining the field operations team as a regional manager for Fountain, Parke, Putnam, Vermillion and Warren counties. Before this role, Helderman was an ag teacher and FFA advisor at Parke Heritage High School in Rockville, Indiana.
Helderman has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture education with minors in horticulture science and crop management from Purdue University. She is actively involved in 4-H and plays a role on her family farm in Marshall, Indiana – a cow-calf Simmental Seedstock operation, in addition to growing corn and soybeans.
Helderman and her husband, Cameron, are expecting their first child later this month.
