Dec 30, 2025 by INFB Marketing Team
INFB leaders and staff hosted legislators for an Organization Day breakfast on Nov. 18. The Statehouse breakfast provided INFB with an opportunity to connect with legislators on issues that impact agriculture and rural communities. During the event, legislators were introduced to INFB’s 2026 legislative priorities.
Indiana Farm Bureau members are invited to join weekly Zoom calls every Friday at noon Eastern Time while the Indiana General Assembly is in session. The public policy team will provide updates on the organization’s legislative priorities, bills relating to Farm Bureau policy positions and policies that might impact agriculture or rural communities.
For questions and to register, email ppt@infb.org or call Charlie Tinkle at 317-692-7834.
How to stay informed on legislative issues
At the state level, members can stay up-to-date with Indiana legislation by subscribing to The Dispatch, an electronic newsletter with legislative and regulatory updates from Indiana Farm Bureau, and other public policy-centric communications. The Dispatch is emailed biweekly throughout the year and weekly during the legislative session. Those interested in signing up to receive The Dispatch can email ppt@infb.org.
Through your online member profile at INFB.org, members can receive tailored communication based on their interest or what they're looking to gain from their Farm Bureau membership. Those interested in coming to the Indiana Statehouse should contact their regional manager to help schedule a visit. Learn more about INFB’s legislative priorities at INFB.org/StatePriorities.
