Farmers can now apply for Stage 2 of the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program (SDRP) for qualified losses due to adverse weather in 2023 and 2024. The second stage covers eligible crop, tree, bush and vine losses that weren’t covered under Stage 1 program provisions, including non-indemnified (shallow loss), uncovered and quality losses.
Applications for Stages 1 and 2 assistances to invest in next year’s crop are open until April 30. One application should be filed for each crop year. For more information, visit www.fsa.usda.gov.
