Farm Bureau member Tyler Everett and his family hosted U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins on their Boone County farm on Oct. 30. During her visit, Secretary Rollins met with Indiana agricultural leaders to discuss key issues and the work she and USDA do on behalf of Indiana farmers.
President Randy Kron also was able to share a few words with the group and Secretary Rollins on the rising economic concerns of Hoosier farmers considering the cost of inputs and commodity prices. INFB also stresses to leaders in Washington the importance of being able to pass the farm down to the next generation.
