Annie Romine has joined the Indiana Farm Bureau education and engagement team as youth engagement coordinator.

In this role, she is responsible for 4-H, FFA and Collegiate Farm Bureau programming, as well as INFB activities at the state fair.

Romine has a bachelor’s degree in education from Indiana University. She comes to INFB from the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation, where she worked in the district’s career and technical education program. Her duties included screening and training student ambassadors, collaborating on leadership development opportunities for student teams, planning events, managing social media and providing classroom support.

Prior to that, she was assistant center manager of the Pregnancy Care Center of South Central Indiana (now known as Clarity). In addition, she has served on the game day marketing team for the Indianapolis Colts since 2019.

A native of Columbus, Indiana, where her family raised corn, soybeans, wheat and beef cattle, she now lives in Hope, Indiana, with her husband, Daryn. The couple has three sons: Wyatt, Weston and Emmit.

Outside of work, Romine is a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Columbus, where she has been a youth volunteer leader for six years. She has previously served on the Bartholomew County 4-H Fair Board and continues to serve on the Bartholomew County 4-H Fair Queen Committee.

In fact, fairs are kind of a hobby for Romine. In addition to being a 10-year 4-H member, she was the Miss Bartholomew County 4-H Fair Queen in 1999, and she still enjoys traveling the state to attend county fairs and judge county fair queen pageants.

One of her goals is to visit all the state fairs, and so far, she’s made it to four: Indiana, Florida, Kentucky and Minnesota.
