Registration opens for INFB convention

Sep 25, 2017, 08:00 AM by Kathleen M. Dutro, Marketing Team

Registration has now opened and hotel reservations are being accepted for the INFB state convention, to be held Dec. 7-9 in French Lick.

State_Convention_ImageThe most direct way to register for the convention is by going to the online reservation page.

All voting members for which INFB has a valid email address were sent an invitation Sept. 11, and one way to reach the reservation page is to click the link provided in that invitation.

Those who didn’t receive an invitation may still register online, and those who don’t have access to the internet may register by calling program assistant Tracie Trent, 317-692-7846.

To reserve a hotel room, call 888-936-9360. The room rate for the block of rooms set aside for convention goers is $139 per night, plus tax, and that’s the rate for both the French Lick Springs Hotel, where most of the convention events will be held, and the West Baden Springs Hotel, where the Dec. 8 banquet will be held. Parking is free at both hotels, and shuttles will be provided to transport convention goers between the two.

The final deadline for reserving a room at the Farm Bureau rate is Nov. 6, but there are a limited number of rooms available at that rate, noted Chris Fenner, INFB operations and event manager. If the block is filled before Nov. 6, the special rate will no longer be available.

“We expect to fill the block completely,” Fenner said, adding that more than 200 room reservations were made in the first four days after reservations opened. “So if you plan to come to the convention, don’t delay in making a reservation.”
