Indiana FFA held its state convention in Noblesville and Hamilton Southeastern High School in June. Over 14,400 Indiana FFA members attended the three-day convention of leadership workshops, banquets and trade shows.
INFB staff were on site interacting with FFA members with its DIY hat bar and sharing how they can continue to be involved after graduation through programs like Young Farmers & Ag Professionals.
Annie Romine, INFB youth engagement coordinator, also presented a workshop entitled “Plot Twists and Turns: Embracing a Non-Linear Story.” During her presentation, Romine shared that “nobody’s story follows a straight line. Twists, turns, challenges, opportunities and victories shape your journey.” She shared her story along with handouts for students to begin laying the path to their dream job.
During the convention, the 2026-2027 Indiana FFA state officers were elected. They include president: Hayden Stookey, Tippecanoe Valley; secretary: Katie McClain, Carroll at Flora; northern region vice president: Jessie Frazee, Fountain Central; southern region vice president: Baron Riley, Crothersville; treasurer: Garrett Schwering, North Decatur; reporter: Jaylynn Goodwin, Southridge; and sentinel: Khloe Hinojosa, Warsaw.
