(Indianapolis) – July 9, 2024 – In the newest episode of The Breakdown with INFB podcast, U.S. Rep. Rudy Yakym, representing Indiana’s second congressional district, joined Indiana Farm Bureau to talk federal ag policy.

In INFB’s first podcast episode with a video component, Rep. Yakym commented on everything from farm labor to inflation and handling relationships in Washington, D.C. He also talked about his experience in helping craft his first farm bill and how he foresees it playing out.

“I feel very confident that when the farm bill is ultimately done, passed and signed by the president of the United States, that the priorities of Hoosier farmers in that final bill will be incorporated,” said Rep. Yakym. “We’ve got a great relationship with the agricultural committee chair, and those relationships in Washington matter.”
