INFB gains more than 2,800 new members in 2021

Dec 3, 2021, 09:59 AM by INFB Marketing Team

For the sixth consecutive year, Indiana Farm Bureau has ended the membership year with a gain in total membership.

INFB’s 2021 membership year officially ended on Oct. 31 with a gain of 2,840 members – the organization’s largest yearly gain since 2011.

The final number for the year is 266,463 members, compared to last year’s total of 263,623.  Although INFB came close to also having a gain in voting members, the organization fell short by 386, for a voting membership total of 68,590.

“We appreciate all of the work that went into helping Farm Bureau grow membership this year,” said Randy Kron, INFB president. “This growth is the result of dedication and effort put forth by our volunteers, staff, insurance company personnel, and agents in every county. Thank you for helping make this another successful membership year.”

Below are a few highlights:

  • At 92.40%, this was INFB’s second-best renewal percentage in the past 26 years
  • 22,863 new members joined INFB – 2,019 more than last year.
  • 26 counties had a gain in voting members, up six from last year.
  • 64 counties had a gain in total members, which is 19 more than last year.
