Faces of Farm Bureau: meet event marketing coordinator Maddie Harty

Maddie Harty became Indiana Farm Bureau’s new event marketing coordinator on March 4. Her job is to help develop marketing plans for all district and state events to ensure they are successfully promoted to members.

“I also design the marketing materials to support those events,” she said.

Harty comes to Farm Bureau after working for more than two years as a graphic designer for Learfield Licensing Partners, where she designed logos, social media graphics, apparel graphics and printed materials for more than 650 collegiate brands. She also oversaw the process of updating brand standard guides for Learfield.

A native of New Lenox, Illinois, she has a bachelor’s degree in digital media arts from Valparaiso University.

Among her responsibilities will be designing pieces for state convention and for the Farm Bureau building at the Indiana State Fair.

In between those two big Farm Bureau events is an event that’s big on a personal level: She and her fiancé, Tyler Sanft, will be getting married in October.

“So far I have really enjoyed getting to know my team and learning the ins and outs of the organization,” she said. “I am looking forward to state fair and state convention.”
