The USDA has
declared an agriculture disaster in all 102 Illinois counties.
The Secretarial Disaster Declaration will provide federal resources including low-interest emergency loans from the Farm Service Agency, to help farmers recovering from extreme weather earlier this year.
The
declaration was announced Thursday in response to a request from Governor J.B.
Pritzker in early July.
