Megan Ritter is the director of public policy for Indiana Farm Bureau. She is responsible for directing the policy and government relations strategy for the organization, including policy implementation, policy development and political action committee activities. She also works with the public policy team to support member involvement in the organization through committees, advisory groups and action alerts.

Representative Bob Cherry is Indiana Farm Bureau’s local government relations coordinator. He joined Indiana Farm Bureau in 1988. He currently coordinates industry relations for the organization.

Katrina Hall

Katrina Hall is Indiana Farm Bureau’s government finance and tax specialist. She is a well-recognized authority on Indiana’s state budget and tax structure, spending her entire professional career in government finance. Some of Hall’s duties include lobbying the state legislature and working with county government officials on revenue and budget issues. She also works with several Indiana Farm Bureau task forces to identify and address tax and spending issues that affect our members.

 

Greg Slipher

Greg Slipher serves as livestock development program coordinator for the public policy team at Indiana Farm Bureau. Focusing on policy and regulatory issues affecting livestock production in Indiana, Greg works with livestock producers and other ag organizations to coordinate assistance to help farmers be successful and stay in compliance with regulations. Greg works closely with county Farm Bureaus to help them achieve positive results when working with local officials on livestock issues.

Bob White is Indiana Farm Bureau’s retail agriculture business specialist. White has extensive knowledge in rural economic development and new venture agribusiness as well as experience in writing and implementing policy at the federal, state and local level. With this experience, he works with members to explore and evaluate new opportunities in emerging markets for their products.

Justin Schneider serves as senior policy advisor and counsel for Indiana Farm Bureau’s public policy team. In this role he primarily focuses on implementing Farm Bureau policy with respect to environmental, natural resource, and water issues. Justin also uses his legal experience to assist the legal affairs team in legal programming to benefit Farm Bureau members. Outside of Farm Bureau, Justin serves on the board of directors of the American Agricultural Law Association.

Amy Cornell serves as policy advisor and counsel for Indiana Farm Bureau’s public policy team. In this role, she primarily focuses on implementing Farm Bureau policy with respect to energy, transportation, livestock and property rights issues. Amy also uses her legal experience to assist the legal affairs team. Outside of Farm Bureau, Amy serves on the board of directors of the Indiana Canine Assistant Network. She is also a member of AgriInstitute’s Class 15.

Kyle Cline

Kyle Cline serves as policy advisor for national government relations for Indiana Farm Bureau’s public policy team. In this role he primarily focuses on education, membership engagement and advocacy activities related to federal policy issues and Farm Bureau policy implementation. Having recently completed the Robert Bosch Fellowship in Germany and formerly serving as general manager of the Richard G. Lugar Center for Renewable Energy at IUPUI, Kyle has direct interests in transatlantic exchange and cooperation as well as a passion for environmental, renewable energy, and sustainability issues.

Wanda Hunter, administrative assistant for the public policy team, works to assist with program implementation and all government relations functions of the team. She is the primary administrative coordinator of the policy development (PD) process and works with counties to submit resolutions for PD. In addition to other roles, she works to help keep timely communications from the PPT.

Diane Helton serves as administrative assistant for Indiana Farm Bureau’s public policy team. In her role she helps with the policy development process and delegate session. She also helps coordinate the Farm Bureau leader trip in March and USDA lockup trip in August.
