Marion Stackhouse Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Marion Stackhouse Memorial Scholarship was established to assist Indiana Farm Bureau members in their educational pursuits in an agricultural field of study. Scholarship applications will be judged by a committee knowledgeable in the area of educational scholarships. An applicant must be a Farm Bureau member pursuing studies in an agricultural area (some examples are: School of Agriculture, Food Science, Consumer and Family Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Biotechnology, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Sciences). Further criteria will include community and/or leadership involvement, family Farm Bureau involvement, motivation and financial need. The scholarship may be used for a workshop, seminar, credit or non-credit class or degree program. One applicant may be awarded the full $1,000 scholarship, or it may be divided among several applicants. Any Indiana Farm Bureau family member is eligible. The scholarship must be used within one year after being awarded. Scholarship winners will be recognized at the Indiana Farm Bureau State Convention in December.
