Collegiate Farm Bureau Scholarship

Foundation Scholarship
Application is due to your County Woman Leader by March 1, 2013 and may be sent to her anytime prior to that date. This scholarship is sponsored by Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc.

 

Career Enrichment Scholarship
The Indiana Farm Bureau Career Enrichment Scholarship is to be awarded to an adult, 21 years or older, who intends on enriching their career of choice. The scholarship may be used for a workshop, seminar, credit or non-credit class or degree program. Application is due to your County Woman Leader by March 1, 2013 and may be sent to her anytime prior to that date.

 

Harry L. Pearson Outstanding Leader Scholarship
Incoming Purdue University freshmen and School of Agriculture students are eligible for the Harry L. Pearson Outstanding Leader Scholarship. Funded by Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc. this scholarship is given in honor of IFB past president Harry L. Pearson, who has a great love for agriculture education, Purdue University and Farm Bureau.

 

Marion Stackhouse Memorial Scholarship
The Marion Stackhouse Memorial Scholarship was established to assist Indiana Farm Bureau members in their educational pursuits in an agricultural field of study. Scholarship applications will be judged by a committee knowledgeable in the area of educational scholarships.

Farm Bureau Inc. and Foundation Scholarship

 

District 3
A $1,000 scholarship to a Farm Bureau family member who has been accepted to a higher education institution, and resides in one of the following eight counties: Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Jasper, Newton, Tippecanoe or White.

Allen County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Allen County Farm Bureau, Inc is awarding three $3500 agricultural scholarships to voting members of Allen County.

Delaware County Scholarship
Delaware Delaware County Farm Bureau, Inc. may award up to five $1,000 College Scholarships annually.

Eligibility: To be eligible to receive one of the above scholarships, one must be over 17 years of age and must be a member of a Delaware County Farm Bureau family. Membership in the Delaware County Farm Bureau must have been carried for at least two years prior to the application for such scholarship and must be of good standing at the time of presentation. She/he must also be enrolled or accepted to a vocational school or college or higher education and be a full time student at the time the scholarship is presented. Each scholarship is a one year scholarship, but the applicant may and are encouraged to apply each year that they are eligible. All participants are strongly encouraged to attend a minimum of one Delaware County Farm Bureau Board meeting to understand the goals, mission and operations of Delaware County Farm Bureau. Attendance must be prior to the April 1 scholarship deadline. Monthly meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Insurance building located on State Road 67 north of Muncie. (There are no meetings in May, October and December). The applicant may attend with parents or a fellow student.

Due Date: Applications are due no later than April 1. Mail or deliver all applications to the address and person listed below by the appropriate date.

Elkhart County Farm Bureau Scholarship

A young woman/man to be eligible to receive one of these scholarships must be over 17 years of age and must be a member of Elkhart County Farm Bureau Inc. family with a voting or associate membership. Membership with Elkhart County Farm Bureau, Inc. must have been carried for at least two years prior to application for this scholarship.

 

Floyd County Farm Bureau Scholarship
To be eligible to receive one of the scholarships, the applicant must be a member or belong to a family of a Floyd County Farm Bureau, Inc member. Applicant must also be a senior in high school and desiring to continue their education at a university, college or technical school. A separate scholarship is also available for post-grad high school students wishing to continue their studies or re-enter at a university, college or technical school. All requirements on the application must be met to be eligible.

 

Fulton County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Scholarship applicant's family must be a member of Fulton County Farm Bureau. The applicant must be a resident of Fulton County and a high school senior.

 

Greene County Scholarsip
Parent(s) must be a member of Indiana Farm Bureau Inc. for a minimum of 2 consecutive years prior to completion of this application..

Kosciusko County Farm Bureau Scholarship
To be eligible to receive one of the scholarships, the applicant must belong to a family of a Kosciusko County Farm Bureau, Inc member. Applicant must also be a senior in high school and desiring to continue their education at a university, college or technical school.

 

Lake County Scholarship

 

LaPorte County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Recipient's family must be a member of LaPorte County Farm Bureau for a minimum of one year. Must be a resident of LaPorte County or be attending a LaPorte County school, and be a high school senior or an accepted or continuing college student.

 

Marion County/Stanley Smith Memorial Agricultural Scholarship
To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must:

  1. Be a graduating senior in high school or a college freshman.
  2. Be a current 4-H or FFA member in Marion County.
  3. Have an grade point average of 2.5 or better.
  4. Actively participate in an aspect of the agricultural industry.
  5. Pursue a major in agriculture.

 

Marshall County Farm Bureau Scholarship
A man/woman must be over 17 years of age, must be from a family who has been a member of Indiana Farm Bureau Inc. for a period of 2 years prior to application for the above scholarship. Additionally, the person must be a high school graduate, admitted to an approved or accredited school of higher learning and planning to study a minimum of one year as a full-time student.

 

Montgomery County Farm Bureau Scholarship
To be eligible to receive this scholarship, you must be over 17 years of age, be a graduating senior, and be a member of a Montgomery County Farm Bureau family. Membership in the Montgomery County Farm Bureau must have been carried for at least two years prior to the application for such scholarship and must be in good standing at the time of presentation.

 

Parke County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Recipient's family must be a member of Parke County Farm Bureau for a minimum of one year. Must be a resident of Parke County or be attending a Parke County school.

 

Ripley County Farm Bureau Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1995 to provide a valuable service to our members. The money for these scholarships is generated from the ice cream sold in the Farm Bureau building during the Ripley County 4-H fair.


St. Joseph County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Membership must be carried for 2 years prior to application. The applicant must be a member of St. Joseph County Farm Bureau, Inc.

Vermillion County James Chambers Scholarship
The James Chambers Scholarship is a new scholarship program being offered by Vermillion County Farm Bureau Inc. in honor of James Chambers, who served as secretary-treasurer on the county board for forty-five years.
