Statement from Indiana Farm Bureau about House passage of SB 101:
Indiana Farm Bureau and its farmer-members thank the Indiana House for voting 73 to 25 in favor of Senate Bill 101, a measure that will provide farmers the same protections against trespass enjoyed by all Hoosier homeowners. We look forward to seeing the governor sign this important legislation.
IFB especially thanks Sen. Travis Holdman, R-Bluffton, for authoring SB 101 and shepherding it through the legislative process in a form that offers appropriate trespass protection to Indiana farms. The organization also grateful to Rep. Gregory Steuerwald, R-Danville, and Rep. Jud McMillian, R-Brookville, for their efforts in the House.
