IFB District 1 offers scholarships for students pursuing degrees in agriculture
Students wishing to be considered for the District 1 scholarship have until March 1, 2014, to submit a completed application.
To be eligible, the applicant must be a high school senior admitted to an accredited higher education institution and must be planning to study at least one year in an agriculture-related field. Students must also come from a family that has held Indiana Farm Bureau membership for at least two years prior to the student applying for scholarship funds.
Application forms are available online at www.infarmbureau.org. To find the form, float your cursor over the “Programs” heading at the top of the page and click on “Scholarships.” You will find the “District 1 Farm Bureau Scholarship Application” listed.
All applications must be typed to be considered, and a transcript of the student’s grades should be attached. Completed applications can be sent to Deb Walsh, District 1 woman leader, by mail to 3629 W. 500 S., Rochester, IN 46975 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
