Our Members
Members are the key to our success
Indiana Farm Bureau members are farmers, property owners and agricultural enthusiasts in rural, suburban and urban areas of Indiana. Over 275,000 families belong throughout all 92 counties in Indiana.
A family membership provides everyone in the household (children to age 25) access to services and benefits of membership for an annual fee of $32.50, which is divided between the county, state and national organizations.
Your organization actively represents policy positions on issues determined to be important by elected Farm Bureau leaders from every county. It does this through direct contact and presentations to county, state and national legislative and administrative bodies.
Indiana Farm Bureau is increasingly establishing mechanisms that can communicate information about the opportunities and challenges of providing safe and abundant food and fiber to key groups, most of which are made up of individuals who are more and more detached from farming. Service programs and activities are designed to meet the needs of members.
Indiana Farm Bureau has served and represented member interests for over 93 years, and we are proud of our track record and our ability to adjust to meet your needs. With today's complex economic problems and with government actions and misinformation affecting our lives and businesses daily, it is even more important for you to invite others to join and individually identify how to engage in maintaining a growing and influential organization. Membership provides the organization stimulus and you are that stimulus – the key to our success.
Our mission: Indiana Farm Bureau promotes agriculture through public education, member engagement and by advocating for agricultural and rural needs.
