| Farm Bureau members can now take advantage of farm equipment discounts from Case IH.
Eligible Farm Bureau members will receive an incentive discount (from $300 to $500) when purchasing qualifying Case IH products and equipment from participating dealerships. |

| County fairs are just around the corner, and Farm Bureaus across the state are busy planning activities to promote Farm Bureau membership and Indiana agriculture with their fair presence. The fair is a great time to offer educational and hands-on approaches to teach others about agriculture. |

| The American Farm Bureau Federation will no longer print its monthly newspaper, the FBNews. However, beginning with the May issue, FBNews will be emailed to those who subscribe. |
| Farm Bureau sends farm bill proposal to Capitol Hill |
| The proposal was approved in early April by the AFBF board of directors. Among the members of that board is Indiana Farm Bureau President Don Villwock. |

| Indiana Farm Bureau offers three different kinds of memberships to both its voting members (those who receive a portion of their income from production agriculture) and associate members (those whose income isn’t directly related to agricultural production): |

| The most effective lobbyists for any organization, but particularly a grassroots organization such a Farm Bureau, are its members. But members can’t be there all the time and follow all the details. They in many cases live far from the Statehouse, and they have lives, families and farms to tend. |
