Without membership there is no Farm Bureau

All across the state, county Farm Bureaus are engaging in
activities that promote and advocate for agricultural and rural
needs. All 92 counties are using the County Recognition Program
booklet to help plan and organize.
As of Jan. 31, there had been 69 membership outreach
activities, 175 issue engagement activities, 110 influential
organization activities, 377 young farmer and youth activities,
and 164 public relations and education activities. The grand
cumulative total is 895! We appreciate your efforts.
Many counties will be focusing their efforts from Feb.
20-March 9 on membership as these are the dates for the
annual membership blitz. What is your county Farm Bureau
doing for this event? Home office employees are willing and
able to assist with your membership events, so call us or have
your regional manager contact us.
Did you realize that if your county participates in the blitz
and your county recruits at least one young famer member
then your county would have completed two of the activities
in membership outreach? If every board member signs up at
least one new member, that makes three activities.
Without membership in Farm Bureau, we have no Farm
Bureau. Thank you for realizing the importance of your organization
and know that all efforts toward membership will continue to have a life-long impact on agriculture.
