Deadline nears for 2012 Farm Bureau photo contest

From the AFBF
Public Relations Team

You still have time to enter the 2012 Farm Bureau Photo Contest – but time is growing very short.

The deadline for submissions is Nov. 30. Cash prizes will be awarded to winners and finalists in each of five categories: Safety and health, “My Scenic Farm/Ranch,” “At work on the Farm or Ranch,” “At Home on the Farm or Ranch,” and consumer outreach.

The contest is a coordinated effort between AFBF and the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture. The contest is open to all state and county Farm Bureau members and employees over the age of 18 at the time of entry, including professional photographers.

The goal of the contest is to obtain usable and appropriate photos that accurately portray today’s agriculture and safe practices of farmers and ranchers for use in future publications and promotions. Photos are being accepted in several categories including safety and health, consumer outreach and at home on the farm/ranch.
