IALF online newsletter available

The Indiana Agricultural Law Foundation has started a newsletter for anyone interested in the foundation’s activities and legal topics. The Spotlight, which is sent once a month, currently features stories related to farm labor.
“If a farmer hires someone, he or she is subject to laws surrounding hiring and labor practices,” said Justin Schneider. “We’re providing articles that explain what farmers need to do to comply with those laws.”
Much of the content is provided by attorneys who specialize or have a special interest in farm labor issues.
While farm labor is the current focus, the goal is to cover other topics as well.
