FREE PROGRAMS FOR YOUR CLASSROOM
Presented by Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc.
Trained volunteers present a 30-45 minute lesson centered around agriculture for your classroom, at a time convenient for you and them. The farm is brought to the class by an actual farmer with "hands-on" agriculture experience, who lives within your area. Please consider a farmer’s schedule when planning for a classroom presentation. Many farmer’s are unavailable in the early fall and spring. Each volunteer has a variety of lessons they can present, and are willing to tailor programs to your current studies. Lessons range from where corn and soybeans come from, how the parts of a pizza come from the farm, farm and equipment safety, top Indiana commodities and so much more!
This program meets Indiana's Academic Standards.
