Steve Palmer, a native of Grant County, is Indiana Farm Bureau’s regional manager for members in Grant, Howard, Huntington, Miami, Tipton and Wabash counties.
Steve, who grew up on a cattle farm, received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, where he majored in business and farm management.
He became a field representative in July 1997 and still is a full-time farmer. He farms 600 acres of corn and soybeans, and has a few calves.
Steve and his wife, Crystal, have four children. They attend Upland Community Church. Steve is an active supporter of the FFA.
