Amy Hutson
District 5 regional manager Amy Hutson joined Indiana Farm Bureau in July 1994. She works with Farm Bureau members from Boone, Fountain, Montgomery, Parke, Vermillion, and Warren counties.
Amy grew up on a diversified crop and livestock farm near Elwood, Ind., where her family raised corn, soybeans, hogs, cattle and a few sheep. She was active in 4-H and FFA growing up.
She attended Purdue University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science and business as well as a minor in computer science. She also has a master’s degree in agricultural science and business.
Amy lives on the southwest side of Indianapolis where she is active as a 4-H volunteer leader and judge. Amy tries to live her life by her favorite quote: “Don’t be the thread if you can be the coat. Don’t be the rain if you can be the sea. Don’t be anything less than you can be.”
